Not a budget friendly program?

This is a most common question that even a fitness enthusiast might have in their mind.
When this question pops up in the mind, 80% of the people avoid further interaction with the coach just because it was much costlier than the one you fixed as a base payment.
Here, people are forgetting to ask “why?”
Why the charges are expensive?
It’s a very good and correct question to ask and a well trained professional should definitely give you a genuine reason for it, and leave the decision to you.
Because they definitely know that working with a client should be satisfactory for both the client and the coach.
I’m writing this in an effort to share information which should throw light on
why a particular nutrition coach / dietician charge seems to be expensive
the credentials
Most coaches choose continuing education to improve their knowledge in the relevant fields. They do it because it adds more value to their profession and the added expertise will help guide their client to reach their goals in a much better diet programs. You are investing in your coach to get returns on your health and fitness goals.
The experience
Every human body is different and therefore they require a customized diet program to suit their needs, so with years of experience they are getting more exposure and customization. This experience is valuable because it ends up giving the extra confidence that your fitness journey is in safe and experienced hands.
Realistic approach
A well trained professional will never consider a fad diet, even when the client sets a very short time period to reach their goal, the coach will explain the disadvantages of it and gives you better clarity on how a healthy diet works. This shows that your investment is truly towards real goals and not fancy terms just to attract you and make you artificially feel good.
ownership and going beyond the plan
Every coach has their unique way of planning a diet program. But the plan alone is not going to make you lose weight. A well trained and experienced coach goes beyond the planning and does a lot of important work to ensure that the time a client and a coach spend together is worth every single penny.
This nature of going above and beyond is something that truly defines how committed the coach is to ensure her clients reach their goals.
I am going to explain this, take myself as the instance. After creating the diet schedule, I do the following:
- Tracking & analyzing everyday food schedule of my clients
- Review & guidance of their workout videos
- Daily water tracking, step count tracking Recommendations and insights about the progress made by the client.
- Monitoring daily sleep routine and suggesting meditation techniques to improve their quality of sleep
- Round the clock WhatsApp Communication to guide them when they have then and there queries or alternates related to diet schedule
So when you pay us for the services, it is ALWAYS beyond just a diet schedule. There’s a lot of commitment your investment is buying, a commitment to make a better lifestyle your body deserves…
Now that I have described the factors behind the price of a diet plan, let me go into what the costs look like
Fees of a diet program
There is no fixed amount. Just like how a doctor fee differs depending on a lot of factors, A nutrition coach’s fee also varies according to factors mentioned previously.
A very basic diet schedule from a (newly graduated / fresher) coach charges at least Rs.2000 per month.
According to an Article from forbesindia –
“An established nutritionists, like Rujuta Diwekar, charge anywhere between Rs 15,000 – Rs 3,00,000 to get people fit”
So as said before, Every coach sets their fee according to the effort they put in and that’s not wrong too if they are charging more, they might have a valid reason behind it and you are always welcome to question it if you genuinely needs to know about it than just giving up your goals without knowing why it is set that way.
Investing in your health is always better than paying for hospital bills
Now that I have talked about the market, I wish to share my approach to how I price my programs.
My prices are set in a way that allows me to provide an extremely high level of support and guidance to every single client.
I also truly appreciate some festive periods or periods of distress with well thought out discounts. Discounts can provide joy/relief depending on the situation and I’m no stranger to that.
Additionally, even when there is no general discount, if prospective clients seem genuinely unable to afford the fees, and this financial barrier is the only barrier for them to improve their health, I try my best to make it work by providing special discounts.
I do this out of a sense of giving back to the community because I was in the shoes ten years earlier when I needed to improve my own fitness but couldn’t afford a nutritionist
So when it comes to improving your fitness, don’t give up seeing the price. It’s better to pay more knowing the quality of service you’re going to get than paying lesser for nothing
Enquiries and a honest talk with the coach will help you make the decision to transform your entire lifestyle into the healthiest one.
